Nabagram Peoples’ Co-operative Credit Bank Limited was formed in the year 1962 for deposit mobilization from local people i.e. from members and to issue different types of loans with easy conditions and at a minimum interest rate. After that in the Year 1987, the society was licensed by RBI and the name of the society was changed to Nabagram Peoples’ Co-operative Credit Bank Limited. At present, the bank is trying to do its’ best for the upliftment of the local economy and better service to backward, economically weaker People. Employees and management of the bank are always beside its members and depositors to render the required better service to them. At present, the Noble Government program has been initiated by the bank by starting the SHG Policy as per the Government and R.B.I. norms. Target has been taken to cover all economically weaker and priority sectors within the service of the Bank by this scheme.
All Government subsidies, for example, Government widow pension and Gas subsidies are now directly crediting customer accounts.
ATM service (for all types of ATM cardholders), Ambulance service and Hearse Van service are available for 24 hours. Some other important items to be added for the benefit of members, depositors and local people in near future.
